CBCMHK combined three days Fathers’ Camp underway at THURUTSUSWU village under Phek district

Dimapur, September 13, (NE): Under aegis of Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill Kohima (CBCMHK), three days long Combined Fathers’ Camp for Thurutsuswu & Khutsa Baptist Churches got underway today here at Thurutsuswu Baptist Church (TBC) under the theme, “Stand firm in the faith; Be Men of courage” (I Corinthians 16:3).

According to an information, the camp was initiated by Men Fellowship Department of CBCMHK and was fully sponsored by the CBCMHK.

As per the camp Media Coordinator, Kuzhovesa Soho, 166 persons were registered for the camp including 42 fathers from Khutsa, 92 fathers from Thurutsuswu and 32 from CBCMHK as speakers, Camp officials prayer warriors etc.

Pastor CBCMHK, Rev. Dr. Wepre Mero, speaking on the topic “Righteous Fathers” during the Gospel Worship Service Cum introductory session stressed on the importance of keeping oneself righteous as a father where the responsibility of a society lies with a father.

The progress of a Society starts at home and the reponsibilty to go forward in order to led a successful lives in the society greatly lies with a father. Mero urged the fathers gathered to give their best to led a righteous living & enabled the society to prosper under God righteous living. The present need of the hour is the righteous living of a father which is morally good and correct before an eye of God & therefore he humbly appeals for righteous living as focal point of live and availed the salvation free from God.

Earlier, Jopoplhu Swuro chaired the introductory service, Thuyeduyi Shijo invoke God’s blessings for the service. Welcome note was delivered by Pastor TBC, Shri Cekhwuneyi Shijo. VCC Thurutsuswu, Thuyesao Swuro greeted the congregation.

Meanwhile CYE, TBC enthralled the congregation with special numbers while Vechipa Swuro read the bible passage.
