1. Free congenital heart diseases screening camp held at NHAK.
A press release from Dr. Khriesi Sachu, Nodal Officer, School Health and Adolescent Health, informed that a Free congenital heart diseases screening camp was conducted on February 18-19, 2020, at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), organised by Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), National Health Mission (NHM) Nagaland and Sky Hospital Imphal. A total of 107 children were screened, out of which 53 children were diagnosed with congenital heart diseases. Further treatment/management of the diagnosed children will be done at Sky Hospital Imphal. The treatment cost will be borne by RBSK NHM as per the treatment package model costing set by government of India.
2. Noklak Sub – Division to ensure cross border movement of people
Second: All Village Council under Noklak Sub – Division are directed to ensure cross border movement of people is strictly checked & monitored by enlisting the assistance of Village Guards, if necessary. This is necessitated in the interest of public health and safety.

3. Counting of increment for workcharged employees upon regularization of service.
In an office memorandum, by Chief Secretary-cum-Finance Commissioner, Shri Temjen Toy on February Eighteen said, “On counting of increment for workcharged employees upon regularization of service: In the matter of admissibility of increments granted to workcharged employees in fixing their pay upon regularization of service, it is clarified that the increments granted during workcharged service shall be counted for fixation of pay subject to fulfillment of following conditions:
– Those getting scale pay and have been granted annual increments and
– If such workcharged service was continuous followed by regularization of service and their past workcharged service counted for length of service and pension.
4. GOC Spear Corps visits Kohima.
GOC Spear Corps visited Kohima on February 19, 2020. Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding Spear Corps visited HQ IGAR (North) where he was briefed about the prevailing Security situation and operational preparedness of the Formation. The General officer also visited the Kohima war cemetery to pay reverence.
Appreciating the role played by the troops of Assam Rifles in Nagaland, the General Officer encouraged them to continue with the effort in creating a conducive and peaceful environment in the region so that the trust and faith of the populace in the Security Forces is further cemented.
5. Revenue Review Meeting on February 24, 2020.
A Revenue Review Meeting is convened by Chief Secretary (Nagaland), which will be held on February Twenty Four at Chief Secretary Conference Hall, Kohima. All officers from rank of Executive Engineer (Electric/MIS) & above are directed to positively attend the meeting. It was said through a notification by Department of Power, Government of Nagaland.
6. Zunheboto Road construction completed.
Zunheboto division of Nagaland Public Works Department (NPWD) completed the road construction from National Highway to New Colony prayer chapal. GB, New Colony, appreciated the Contractor for the work and Advisor, School Education, K.T. Sukhalu for the initiative.
