BJP Mon District quarterly Executive Meeting held

Kohima, July 14 (NEx): The BJP Mon District quarterly Executive Meeting was held on July 13th, 2021 in the BJP Bhavan, Chingai Ward, Mon town.

BJP Mon District appreciates the State President BJP Nagaland & Minister Temjen Imna Along and Dy. CM GoN, Y. Patton, under whose untiring leadership and concern the party is remarkably proactive with flying colours.

Spokesperson BJP Nagaland and Co-Convener for BJP Mon District, Samuel Sumi in a press release stated that since, last year the party has been in the forefront led by the elected leaders, seniors and all the karyakartas in the fight against Covid-19.

‘During the 2nd State Executive Meeting on June 28th, the august assembly paid our humble tribute to all our comrades who succumbed to the woes of Covid-19 from April to June 2021. Thereafter, in the unanimous political resolution of BJP Nagaland it reaffirmed to stand for unwavering commitment towards an Early, Acceptable and Honourable India- Naga Political Solution and also resolve to extend all possible cooperation as and when called for’, Sumi said.

The spokesperson said that under NDA government, the country has made “unprecedented achievements” in the fields of security, public welfare and reforms and gives credit to the Prime Minister Modi for improving the living standards of the poor, farmers and deprived sections by bringing them into the mainstream with his determined, holistic and welfare policies and making India a powerful nation under his vibrant leadership.

Sumi further state that, “Modi government has presented a unique example of unparalleled coordination of development, security, public welfare and landmark reforms. For the last seven years, the people of India have consistently expressed their unwavering faith in Modi’s service and dedication, for which his visionary leadership is appreciated. It is of high expectations that Modi ji will overcome every challenges and continue India’s developmental journey uninterrupted, where Northeast in general and Nagaland in particular has a soft spot always”.

Along with the other nations of the world, India and our State is reeling under unprecedented difficult times of deaths and economic crisis due to the Pandemic. But, as always India has emerged as a strong contender against this deadly virus since the last over 20 months and now with the nationwide Covid vaccination drive for all the vulnerable age groups free of cost, this significant challenge is admired by the onlookers aboard.

Stating on behalf of BJP as a party, Sumi said, “Neither we can kill Coronavirus nor it can wipe away humanity” but we must learn to live with each other which can only be possible when everyone is fully vaccinated and learn to live with the SOP to tackle the Covid appropriate behaviours.
