Kohima, January 10 (NEx): The Dimapur batallion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) provided study materials to students from Dimapur for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSE) and also supplied drinking water for an NGO in Khatkhati.
Assam Rifles Provided Study Materials For AISSE:
Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) provided study materials and started Coaching and training of students for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSE) 2021.
A press release from the PRO HQ IGAR (N) said that a total of 10 students who were registered for Sainik School Punglwa Entrance Exam 2021 from Dimapur District alongwith their parents attended the programme for collection of study materials and activation of zoom app for online classes.
Assam Rifles Supplied Drinking Water:
The PRO also informed that Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (N) supplied drinking water to the residence of Mr Prince Fernandes who has been running an NGO for blind persons in Khatkhati on January 07, 2021.
The Battalion has been carrying out such activity regularly in its area of responsibility since its inception. Mr Prince Fernandes acknowledged and
thanked the Security forces for extending help, it said.
