Kohima, October 16 (NEx): Tuensang Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) organized a free medical camp at Changsha village of Mon district on October 15, 2020.
A press release from the HQ IGAR (N) said that the aim of the medical camp was to provide medical support and assistance to the villagers especially the old, handicapped, orphaned and women who are unable to go to the hospital at far distances.
The importance of timely vaccination, personal hygiene and sanitation was also discussed.
A total 28 Males, 30 Females and 14 Children benefitted from the camp.
The participants acknowledged the efforts of the Assam rifles and expressed gratitude for their selfless service, the release said.
