Assam Rifles Inaugurates Gymnasium Facility & Installs Solar Lights

ASSAM RIFLES DONATED RATION AT KUSHIABIL, DIMAPUR DISTRICT , NAGALAND Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) donated ration including Rice, Atta, Dal, Sugar etc as an immediate relief measure to a family whose house was gutted in an accidental fire in Kushiabil village, Dimapur, Nagaland on 27 March 2021. The fire took place in the evening of 25 March 2021 wherein the entire house and household items of the were completely burnt. The family now is being assisted to set up their new home with help of the villagers of Kushiabil and Assam Rifles Company deployed nearby. The family and the villagers extended their gratitude and lauded the efforts of Assam Rifles

Kohima, March 28 (NEx): Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) inaugurated a Gymnasium facility at Athibung town, Peren district, Nagaland on March 26th, 2021.

The Gymnasium facility was handed over to the town council with the GoI motto of Fit India, Healthy India and Anti-Drugs campaign, the PRO HQ IGAR (N) said.

The Town and youth authorities came forward to acknowledge the efforts of Assam Rifles and thanked the forces for their selfless service for the people.

Assam Rifles Installs Solar Lights At Dimapur:

Dimapur Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) installed six solar street lights at Dhansiripar village, Dimapur District, Nagaland on March 25th, 2021.

PRO informed that it was installed under Assam Rifles Civic Action Programme Project and was handed over to the village authorities.

The civil authorities extended their gratitude and lauded the efforts of Assam Rifles in pursuing development
activities in rural areas of Dhansiripar Sub Division.

Assam Rifles Installs 12 Solar Street Lights At Phek:

Phek Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) installed 12 solar street lights under the civic
action project at New Thewati, old Thewati, Washello and Lacham village, Phek district, Nagaland .

Addressing the long desired requirement of the border villages, the unit under the civic programme installed twelve solar street lights, three each at New Thewati, Old thewati, Washello and Lacham at key locations thereby providing people with uninterrupted light at all times.

The villagers and council members expressed their profound gratitude to the Assam Rifles for this novel gesture, said the PRO.
