Assam Riffles held orientation program for Nagaland Police trainees

Dimapur, January 11 (NE): Assam Rifles Conducts Orientation Programme for NEPA Trainees after having successfully completed their training at the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA), 14 Probationers of 46 batch from Nagaland underwent 5 days orientation programme with the Assam Rifles from January Six to Ten, 2020.

According to a notification received here said that the trainees, during the period, were given a brief about the organization of Assam Rifles, terrain imperatives and various security challenges in Nagaland. The trainees also visited and stayed at Company Operating Base deployed along the Indo-Myanmar Border.

The orientation programme culminated today at Kohima, wherein, Maj Gen Pradeep Nair, YSM alongwith the Officers of HQ IGAR (N) interacted with them. The General Officer encouraged the Probationers to dedicate themselves for maintaining Peace & Stabilityin the State.
