Assam Riffles flags off 17 days National Interactive Tour from Nagaland 

Dimapur, January 3 (NE): A Seventeen Days National Interactive tour to South India was flagged off from Chieswema on January One, 2020 by the Wokha Battalion of Assam Rifles.

Assam Rifles PRO through a press release on Tuesday, January two, informed that the National Interactive tour for 20 girls students and two lady teachers from various schools of Kohima, Wokha, Phek and Kiphire district of Nagaland aims to encourage learning and generate awareness among the youth by witnessing technology advancements and varied culture and traditions of other parts of the country.

The 17days tour comprises of visits to various interesting places in Chennai and Bangaluru to include Officers Training Academy, Indian Coast Guard, St Thomas Cathedral as well as interactions with the Honble Governors of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

The Flag off ceremony was enthusiastically attended by the touring children and various ranks of Assam Rifles.
