Annual Johnian Song Fest 2019 organized by St. John’s School Kohima held

Kohima, November 8 (NE): Annual Johnian Song Fest 2019 was organized by St. John’s School Kohima at St. John’s School Kohima on November 8, 2019.

Wonthungo Tsopoe, Director, Education Department, Kohima, Nagaland was the special guest and the host for the song fest was Miss Ajoy Kasar.

The Annual Johnian Song Fest is held every year by St. John’s School Kohima at the school premises. All the students from all the classes in the school participates in the song fest. The school choir and many talented students from the school are featured at the song fest with varieties of songs and dances.

Speaking at the song fest, Wonthungo, the special guest affirms that there is visible growth physically, mentally and spiritually among the school children and appreciated the school authorities for the progress.

He declares that healthy way of living comes from education and encouraged the students to work hard and also that the students are the leaders of tomorrow. He called upon the students to be the fruit for all of us in the future, Enjoy life in a proper way with obedience, sincerity and hard work.

Wonthungo also requested and reminded parents to keep away mobile phones and gadgets from children untill they are mature enough to use them in a proper way. He further urged them to identify the potential of their children and let them take up their carrier accordingly and not to impose on the children which may affect their future as they can’t perform well if they are not interested in a particular area of studies.
