Kohima, March 19 (NEx): An all-party state assembly delegation led by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at New Delhi on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio informing about the meeting through twitter said, ‘Along with an all-party state assembly delegation of Leader of Opposition TR Zeliang, Advisor IT, Science & Technology, Mmhonlumo Kikon, Advisor for Tourism, Art & Culture H Khehovi and Minister of Housing, Mechanical, Tongpang Ozukum called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at New Delhi and had a positive meeting’.
‘We urged the Government of India to expedite the peace process and bring about an early and honourable solution to the Naga political issue,’ said the tweet from CM Rio.
