Kohima, August 01 (NEx): The All City COVID-19 Task Force team for Nagaland applauded & thanked the Government of Nagaland under the leadership of Chief Minister, Shri Neiphiu Rio and his council of ministers for helping the stranded citizens of Nagaland by providing financial assistance, arranging transportation to reach home and also for warmly welcoming our people back home.
The task force also thanked the Chief Secretary Shri Temjen Toy, IAS and his team, Mr. Shanavas C, IAS, Principal Director School Education and Nodal officer, and Nagaland police for continuously assisting and supporting them.
An appreciation letter by All City COVID-19 Task Force team for Nagaland, Convener, Mughato Kiba, NSU Bangalore, Lulu N Lohe, NSU Pune, N. Chibenthung, NSU Chennai and Secretaries, Jubika A. Yepthomi, NSU Dehradun, TP Dining, NSU Shillong, expressed sincere gratitude to all Nodal officers of Nagaland who has helped in coordinating for arranging transportations, and heartfelt thanks to all the Public leaders, Churches leaders, Community leaders, village/colony councils, Naga student’s union leaders, volunteers, etc. and all right-thinking citizens of Nagaland who has arranged everything possible to welcome the stranded Nagaland citizens in other states.
Further, the Task force salute and thanked all the Frontline workers, Doctors, Nurses, Police, Drivers, Volunteers, District administrations, etc. for working day and night risking their lives to welcome the stranded people.
We take pride being a Naga, where unity and love has always been our foundations and priority, all your efforts have helped in smooth transitions of everything that was necessary during this pandemic for our stranded Nagas, added ACCTF.
We are extremely pleased to hear the safe return of the stranded students, workers, medical patients, and their safe stay at the quarantine centers. It was an amazing job carried out with dedication and efficiency, it added.
