After effect of Nagaland’s Lokayukta: DC Kohima to strictly enforce “No Work, No Pay”

Dimapur, January 7 (NE): After Nagaland Lokayukta cracks down perhaps in the history of Nagaland’s Administration system under Government of Nagaland so as to let all it’s employees get back to work – after Christmas and New Year Holidays.

In a notification by district administration of Kohima, it has instructed all its employees under the said district through the concern Head of Departments to check whether any staffs are missing from the bonafide Government duty in respective offices.

As per the directive of the State Government, Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, has informed all Head of Departments under Kohima District to check the attendance of the Officers and Staff under their respective Establishment and strictly enforce “No Work, No Pay” on absentee employees. The Deputy Commissioner in an order said, report on the action taken has to be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima at the end of each week, for submission to the Government.
