Kohima, August 5: Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) Advisor, Theja Meru called on Smt. Akumla Chuba Director of Youth Resources and Sports Government of Nagaland on Monday (5th August).
They discussed on proactive ideas and ways to help and promote the youth, especially in their creative pursuits.
TaFMA advisor, Theja Meru highlighted about the Open House that’s already underway and TaFMA is positive, now that the first open house is launched, all other districts will follow soon.
The first TaFMA Open House was officially launched by Ms. Awan N. Konyak, Chairperson Nagaland State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Govt. of Nagaland at the Council Hall, Mon Town on 3rd August, 2019.
Further, Efforts are being made to set up a mini art gallery at RCEMPA and to reach out to music and art institutions to become knowledge partners to TaFMA so as to help the youth in their creative pursuits .
TaFMA is also planning to involve more local musicians in the hornbill music festival 2019.
