7 year old donates his savings to fight Covid-19, wins hearts

Kohima, April 06 (NE): The story of a 7 year old boy who donated his savings to fight the Covid-19 pandemic towards the District Covid19 Fund in Zunheboto district of Nagaland took the social media by storm.

Kitheka I Khujumi, son of Inato Khujumi from Asukhomi Village, a 7 year old kid studying in Little Spring School, Zunheboto donated his pocket money to the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto towards the District Covid19 Fund.

It is reported that Kitheka was saving the money to buy a bicycle for himself, however, on knowing about the global plight of Coronavirus in the District, he decided to donate his entire savings.

Among the numerous donations received by the Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo, this is a heartwarming and very generous contribution made by precocious and cheerful boy of 7 in Zunheboto who donated his pocket money to the fight against Covid-19 in the district, said DIPR notification.

The District Task Force for Covid-19 Zunheboto sent out good wishes for his future and hope to inspire others by his good deeds, added the notification.
