2 days demonstration-cum-training camp for Blind Football held at Dimapur

Dimapur, February 17 (NE): The two-days Nagaland Blind Football demonstration cum training camp concluded on Sunday, February Sixteen, at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) Ground, Dimapur with Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Government of Nagaland, Shri Anoop Kinchi, IAS, as the special guest. It was conducted by the State Disability Commissioner office and organised by Nagaland State Disability Forum and Prodigals’ Home in collaboration with the Indian Blind Football Federation.

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi gracing the occasion said that Rights of Persons with Disability Act states that the persons with disabilities enjoy the right to equality, life with dignity and respect for his/her integrity equally with others. Sports Director of Indian Blind Football Federation, Sunil J. Mathew also spoke on the occasion.

Later, DC Dimapur kicked off the demonstration of the sport played by blind players at DBHSS Ground, Dimapur.
