Kohima, July 02 (NEx): Two persons in Kohima working in frontline duties with regard to Quarantine management have been tested positive for COVID-19, stated a press release by District Task Force, Kohima.

Following this, aggressive contact tracing is on and more than 115 primary and secondary contact have been traced so far.

Additionally, 15 results of the primary contact came negative. More samples have been sent for testing to BSL-3 lab in NHAK. All the close contacts are in quarantine, contact tracing will expand and more samples will be collected and tested, it said.

The public are requested not to panic but follow all precautionary measures related to COVID-19, stated the press release issued at 08:00 pm today.

15 more patients recovered from COVID-19:

15 more patients recovered from COVID-19 in Nagaland, informed Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 07:14 pm today.

Among the 15 patients recovered from COVID-19, 12 are from Kohima, 2 from Dimapur and 1 from Peren, tweeted Pangnyu.

With this new recovery, total recovered count in the State reached 197 and active cases stands at 338.
