Kohima, May 21 (NE): As the Nation enters 57th day into lockdown, a sigh of relief for few Nagas stranded in Haryana along with other Northeastern states, as Haryana government announced special train to ferry people to their home state. Three special trains are scheduled to run to Northeast India.
First special train is planned to Dimapur from Gurugram, Haryana on May 22, 2020, which will carry stranded citizens of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Assam.
Two more special trains are planned for the stranded citizens of Assam, Tripura and Manipur from Gurugram in Haryana on May 23 and 25, 2020.
Second train is on May 23, 2020 which is only for Tripura and Assam – Gurugram to Guwahati to Tripura.
Third train is on May 25, 2020, which is only for Manipur stranded citizens, from Gurugram to Manipur.
This was announced by SP, Security & Crime, Haryana, Pankaj Nain IPS. He further informed to contact district authorities for these trains.
While informing on Mizoram, Pankaj IPS said that the state government have booked their own train from Delhi and more details will be coordinated.
