It is important to note that in every corner of the street a trash bin has been provided for a clean city but some times ignorance can be the main cause of polluting the environment. Cooperation from the people are also very important in keeping the surroundings and city clean, a citizen observed.

Another shocking photo of a drainage near City Tower, Dimapur which is covered with plastic waste, eventually will be the cause of major disasters. It is observed from cities like Chennai and Mumbai during the heavy rain, the drainage systems getting blocked causing water loading and resulting flood. If this littering continues, then we are also not far from another man-made disaster.

It is high time for the concerned authorities to step in to this ongoing litter issue or to find a way to end this menace before it is too late.
