Kohima, May 13 (NE): The Government of Nagaland notifies on One Time financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 to the stranded citizens outside the state who submitted ‘returnee declaration form’ between May 08, 2020, 12 noon and May 11, 2020, 12 noon.
The State Government decided that any stranded person of Nagaland outside the state who has already registered in the Returnees Declaration Form before 12 noon on May 11, 2020, and presently staying outside the North Eastern States and who voluntarily opts to stay back where he/ she is at present, will be given a one- time assistance of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand).
Also Nagaland citizens stranded in Sikkim state will be allowed to apply, it added.
Anyone who wants to stay back and avail this One-Time Assistance may go to the https://iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in portal and fill up the ‘ONE TIME ASSISTANCE’ form by providing the requisite details. It is also informed that the application has opened from 7:00 PM May 13, 2020 to 7:00 PM May 16, 2020.
It is important to note that a total of 18,282 citizens of Nagaland in different parts of the country desiring to come back has submitted the returnees form.
It also notified that the documents required to submit this application are: valid Aadhaar, valid bank passbook, indigenous inhabitant certificate or birth certificate issued by the Government of Nagaland.
All efforts will be made to process the application for ONE TIME GRANT within 72 Hrs (Seventy Two hours) on Bank working days only, it added.
Incorrect / Invalid Bank Account Numbers or IFSC will be summarily rejected, it notified.
