Kohima, October 12 (NEx): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) & Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) issued a revised list of the departments/services exempted from the purview of the statewide Bandh on NL 10 & NL 11 registered vehicles as part of the first phase of agitation jointly called by NSF & ENSF against the State government’s inaction to mainstream the SSA-RMSA teachers of 2010 & 2013 batches into the State Education cadre.
A notification issued by the students’ bodies said that in addition to the already existing list of departments and services exempted from the purview of the indefinite statewide bandh on NL 10 & NL 11 registered vehicles, the two federations had a thorough discussion over the various request for exemptions and have unanimously decided to extend the same to the following departments:
-All vehicles assigned for High Court and postal duties provided they are able to present a valid ID card along with photocopy of this letter on request.
– Vehicles belonging to Home Guards, Civil Defense and SDRF assigned for COVID-19 duty provided they are able to a present a valid ID card along with photocopy of this letter on request.
The revised list of departments/services exempted from the purview of the bandh are Medical, District Administration, Police, Fire & Emergency Services, Power, High Court & Postal duties, Home Guards, Civil defense and SDRF.
