Reopening of schools will attract strict disciplinary action; Directorate of School Education (DoSE) Government of Nagaland warns

Kohima, July 15 (NEx): The Directorate of School Education, (DoSE) Government of Nagaland warns the Head of the schools that reopening of schools in any manner in violation of the Lockdown Order issued by the Govt. is strictly prohibited and severe disciplinary action will be initiated.

A notification issued by Principal Director of School Education, Shanavas C, IAS, said that there has been reports of few schools in the State issuing notifications regarding conducting of examinations/resuming of classes, in violation of the Lockdown Order issued by the Government of Nagaland dated May 04, 2020.

Further, Shanavas reiterated that reopening of schools in any manner in violation of the Lockdown Order issued by the Government is strictly prohibited and severe disciplinary action including invoking of Section 188 IPC will be initiated against the Head of Institutions & Members of the School Management Committees/Boards violating the Lockdown Order as per appropriate provisions of law.
