Kohima, June 30: The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will address the nation at 04:00 pm today, June 30, 2020.
This announcement of PM Modi’s address came at a significant time as the country moves into the second phase of the unlock, also amidst the standoff with China in eastern Ladakh. This would be Prime Minister’s sixth address to the nation since the outbreak of the pandemic.
A notification from the office of the Prime Minister of India informed about his address to the nation via a tweet.

It is important to note that over 19,700 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported on Sunday, June 28, 2020 in India. Total number of positive cases in the country stands at 5,48,318, including 2,10,120 active cases, 3,21,723 cured/discharged/migrated and 16,475 deaths.
