Prime Minister Modi Purchases Shawl from Nagaland on Women’s Day

Kohima, March 08 (NEx): On the occasion of International women’s day, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi purchased an Ao traditional shawl by Chizami Weaves from ‘Made in Nagaland Center’ portal. He also shared the screen shot of the shawl purchased in his tweet.

The Prime Minister in a tweet said “India is proud of the Naga Culture, synonymous with bravery, compassion and creativity.

The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi bought products from various women Self Help Groups and entrepreneurs across the country in an attempt to give an impetus to women entrepreneurs and Aatmnirbhar Bharat.

Mentioning about women’s role in India’s quest for Aatmnirbharta, PM Modi tweeted “Women are playing a leading role in India’s quest to become Aatmanirbhar. On International Women’s Day, let us commit to encouraging entrepreneurship among women.

Today, I bought a few products that celebrate women enterprise, creativity and India’s culture,” he tweeted.

He purchased many other items from different states to encourage women entrepreneurs across the country.
