One suspected sample sent from Nagaland tested negative, so far no Covid-19 positive case

Kohima, March 23 (NE): One suspected Covid-19 case sample for was sent for testing from Nagaland and the result came out negative, said the Minister for Health and Family Welfare, GoN, S Pangnyu Phom today, March 23, 2020.

The sample collected of an elderly person of age 84, from Nagaland on March 21, 2020 between 08:00 – 09:00pm was sent to ICMR-RMRC, Dibrugarh, Assam, for the suspectey Coronavirus test. In a big relief to the state, the test result came negative on March 22, 2020.

There’s no COVID19 positive case in Nagaland as of now. Public are advised not to circulate any news without proper authentication. Any development news will be informed to the general public by the Health and Family Welfare department, Government of Nagaland, added the Minister.
