NSF to conduct physical verification of selected JEE & NEET candidates

Kohima, November 24 (NEx): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) informed all the candidates who have been selected to undergo various courses through JEE and NEET, that the federation will be conducting physical verification of the candidates at the Head Office of NSF Kohima starting from November 25, 2020 till December 15, 2020.

A press release from NSF today, November 24, stated that the verification will be conducted by the education committee NSF. Candidates are asked to be accompanied by parents or guardians along with their original documents, recent passport size photographs, HSSLC admission card, Schedule Tribe certificate and indigenous certificate.

The federation asserted that only candidates who are Nagas by blood are eligible to occupy the seat allotted for the state of Nagaland. In the past years there has been instances of non- indigenous candidates applying from the state quota.

Further, the NSF stated that the selected candidates for the year 2020 failing to verify the documents will be considered as not eligible and necessary steps will be initiated against the defaulters. It also urged all candidates to strictly comply with the SOPs.
