Narendra Modi completes 7 years as Prime Minister of India on Sunday, May 30, 2021

Kohima, May 30 (NEx): The Narendra Modi-led BJP government completes seven years in office on Sunday, May 30, 2021 under the shadow of the devastating pandemic. The Prime Minister said that ‘the country is progressing, following the path of inclusive development’.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed the seventh anniversary as ‘Seva Diwas’ on Sunday. Party leaders and workers carried out Covid prevention and relief work in one lakh villages across the country. In view of the pandemic, the party has decided not to celebrate the day, but instead organise relief works under the campaign ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan Hai’.

Over these seven years, the country has followed the mantra of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas’. “India now moves ahead not under the pressure of other countries but with its own convictions, making everyone proud,” said PM Modi in ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address.

The Union Home Minister, Amit Shah also said, “For the last 7 years, the people of the country have consistently expressed their unwavering faith in Modi ji’s service and dedication, for which I bow to the countrymen. I am confident that under the visionary leadership of PM Modi, we will overcome every challenge and continue India’s developmental journey uninterrupted.”

Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completion of 7 years in office. Patton said, ‘Under his visionary leadership, Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas has remained the driving force for India’s growth as the Government continues to strive towards building a prosperous New India.’

“Heartiest greetings to the Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji led BJP Government on the successful completion of 7 golden years dedicated to Good Governance, Inclusive Growth and Empowerment with Dignity,” Minister for Higher Education and Tribal Affairs also the State President, BJP Nagaland, Temjen Imna Along tweeted.

Meanwhile, BJP Nagaland, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Nagaland, BJP Mahila Morcha Nagaland, Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, Nagaland, carried out various activities like cleanliness drive, providing face mask, refreshments, food packets to health care workers, across the state to mark the seventh anniversary of PM Modi in the office on Sunday.
