Nagaland State Biodiversity Board (NSBB) website hacked, posts 'Pak Army Zindabad'

Kohima, July 17 (NEx): Reportedly a Pakistan hacker group, ‘SMW Supportz’ hacked the Nagaland State Biodiversity Board (NSBB) official website and posted ‘Pak Army Zindabaad’ text along with Pakistan flag in the NSBB website.

Hacker posted their identity in the NSBB official website as SMW Supportz, and posted Pakistan flag and the content posted reads out- ‘Pak Army Zindabaad’, ‘If death strike before I prove my blood, I swear I will kill death’ – Pak Army – unquote.

The hacked site was noticed and reported by a user in Nagaland, when they visited the NSBB website, under the download link tab.

The concerned department have restored back its original content and removed all the hacker posts and Pakistan flag from the NSBB website.

Apparently, the Nagaland State Biodiversity Board official website domain name, nsbb.in is hosted on a private domain not hosted on a government domain i.e, gov.in domain.

Department of ITC, Government of Nagaland, in a notification said, ‘to avoid/ minimize such issues, Govt departments / Organizations are requested to host websites on gov.in domain and Government Data Centres which offers higher security.
