Kohima, May 26 (NE): Nagaland reported one more COVID-19 positive case today, May 26, in Kohima, taking the total number of positive cases in the state to four.
Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom took to twitter to update on the news of COVID-19 positive case in the State. New positive case for COVID-19 is also a returnee from Chennai.
Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom’s tweet said, ‘another returnee from Chennai has been tested COVID19 +ve at Kohima.’
With this, we have 4 active cases. Contact tracing are being activated, tweets Pangnyu.

Meanwhile, in a first, Nagaland reported three COVID-19 positive cases on Monday, May 25, 2020. All three are returnees from Chennai. Two cases were reported from Dimapur and one from Kohima, they are undergoing treatment at District Hospital Dimapur and Chedema, Kohima respectively.
So far, a total of 1336 suspected samples were sent for testing. The results of 1080 samples have been received, out of which 4 results are positive. The results for 282 samples are awaited, stated the COVID-19 dashboard.
