Nagaland reports a spike of 266 COVID-19 positive cases on May 4th

Kohima, May 04 (NEx): Nagaland reported 266 COVID-19 positive cases on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 in Nagaland. The state total tally rose to 14717, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.

Out of 266 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today, 162 cases were detected in Dimapur, 71 in Kohima, 11 in Tuensang, 08 in Mon, 04 each in Peren & Mokokchung, 03 in Longleng, 01 each in Kiphire, Phek & Zunheboto. Active cases stands at 1798.

Also, the state recorded 32 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 12,357 updated Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.

Out of the 32 recoveries today, 17 patients recovered from Dimapur, 08 from Phek, 03 from Tuensang, 02 each from Mokokchung & Kohima, the Health Minister updated.

The department in it’s daily bulletin also recorded 108 deaths of COVID-19 in the state till date.
