Kohima, July 16 (NEx): Nagaland recorded 95 new COVID positive cases and 61 recoveries on Friday, July 16th, 2021. Active cases stands at 1082 and there were 3 deaths related to COVID-19 today, the health department updated.
95 new COVID-19 positive cases recorded on July 16th:
With 95 new positive cases on Friday, the total tally of positive cases stands at 26,476. Out of 95 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 47 cases were detected in Kohima, 13 in Tuensang, 11 in Mokokchung, 9 in Dimapur, 6 in Longleng, 5 in Phek, 3 in Kiphire and 1 in Peren.
61 COVID recoveries recorded on July 16th:
The state also recorded 61 recoveries on Friday, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 24,145. Out of 61 recoveries, 17 recovered from Mokokchung, 9 each from Dimapur, Kohima & Phek, 6 from Zunheboto, 5 from Kiphire, 3 from Mon, 2 from Peren and 1 from Longleng
3 deaths reported on July 16th:
Three deaths due to COVID-19 was also reported today in the State, 2 from Dimapur and 1 from Mokokchung district, the health department updated.
