Kohima, May 12 (NEx): Nagaland reported, 9 deaths due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in the State to 154, informed the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom on Wednesday.
Out of the 9 deaths reported on May 12th, 6 deaths are reported in Dimapur, 2 in Kohima and 1 in Phek district, updated the COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by the Health department.
The State also reported 338 new COVID-19 positive cases on Wednesday, May 12th, 2021. The total tally rose to 16,890, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Out of 338 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 184 cases were detected in Dimapur, 87 in Kohima, 18 in Tuensang, 15 in Mon, 09 in Mokokchung, 06 each in Longleng, Kiphire, Phek, 03 in Zunheboto, 02 each in Wokha & Peren. Active cases stands at 3297.
Also, the state recorded 98 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 12,877, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
Out of the 98 recoveries today, 44 recovered from Kohima, 33 from Dimapur, 18 from Tuensang, 02 from Zunheboto and 01 from Phek, the Health Minister updated.
338 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.
Dimapur- 184, Kohima- 87, Tuensang- 18, Mon- 15, Mokokchung- 9, Longleng- Kiphire- Phek- 6 each, Zunheboto- 3, Wokha- Peren- 2 each.
98 +ve patients have recovered.
