Nagaland reports 8 new COVID-19 positive cases; total count rises to 355 on June 25, 2020 informs Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom

Kohima, June 25 (NE): Nagaland reported eight (08) new COVID-19 positive cases today, June 25, 2020, taking the total confirmed cases in the state to 355.

Out of 316 samples tested for COVID-19, eight (08) new positive cases confirmed, said an update from Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at around 09:05 am today.

Out of the eight new positive cases for COVID-19, five (5) cases are from Kohima quarantine centre, and three (3) from Dimapur quarantine centre, informed Health Minister.

With eight (08) new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of confirmed cases rises to 355 today. Among the confirmed cases, 148 patients have recovered from COVID-19 taking the active cases in the state to 207, Pangnyu Phom tweeted.

Among the 207 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 40 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 53 at Kohima, 23 at Mon, 83 at Peren, 3 at Tuensang, 3 at Zunheboto and 1 at Phek district.

All the COVID-19 cases reported in the state are among the stranded citizens of Nagaland who returned from across the country.
