Kohima, July 25 (NEx): Nagaland has reported 50 new COVID-19 positive cases and 4 recoveries, today, July 25, 2020, informed Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 06:28 pm. State COVID positive tally rises to 1289.
Taking to twitter, Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 344 samples tested, 50 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed.
Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 20 cases are in Mon, 19 in Dimapur, 7 in Kohima and 4 in Mokokchung district – updates the Health Minister, today.
The State has reported 4 deaths, informed Pangnyu Phom. However, investigation is on and subject to further verification to establish the link with COVID-19 as comorbid conditions were present – tweets Health Minister.
50 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 344 test results received.

With 50 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1289 today. Seven more COVID patients recovered today, taking the recovery tally to 541 and the active cases in the state now stands at 744. As per the severity of symptoms, out of 744 active cases, 740 are asymptomatic and 2 active cases are mild, 1 active case is moderate and 1 active case is in ICU on ventilator, as per the COVID-19 briefing by Principal Secretary, Home.
Among the 744 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 354 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 189 at Kohima, 111 at Mon, 57 at Peren, 7 at Tuensang, 4 at Phek and 9 at Mokokchung, 3 at Longleng, 8 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district.
