Nagaland reports 373 recoveries from COVID on June 1st

Kohima, June 01 (NEx): Nagaland reported 373 recoveries, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 16,111 on June 1st, 2021. Also, the active COVID positive cases reached 4725 with 174 new cases and 09 deaths related to COVID-19 were recorded today, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.

Out of the 373 recoveries, 208 patients recovered from Kohima, 57 from Mon, 36 from Dimapur, 22 from Tuensang, 17 from Zunheboto, 16 from Phek, 10 from Mokokchung, 05 from Longleng and 02 from Wokha, the Health Minister updated.

With 174 new positive cases on Tuesday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 21,854. Out of 174 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 58 cases were detected in Dimapur, 43 in Mokokchung, 20 in Tuensang, 16 in Kohima, 12 in Mon, 10 in Phek, 08 in Wokha, 05 in Zunheboto and 01 each in Kiphire – Longleng, Pangnyu said.

The state also reported 09 deaths related to COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 372. Out of 09 deaths, 05 deaths are from Dimapur, 02 from Kohima and 01 each from Kiphire & Phek, COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by the Health department updated.
