Kohima, June 02 (NEx): Nagaland reported 218 new Covid positive cases and 14 deaths on Wednesday, June 02, 2021, taking the active positive cases count in the State to 4832, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
With 218 new positive cases on wednesday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 22,072. Out of 218 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 86 cases were detected in Dimapur, 40 in Mokokchung, 34 in Kohima, 31 in Tuensang, 09 in Phek, 07 in Wokha, 05 in Zunheboto, 03 in Kiphire and 01 in Longleng, Mon & Peren, Pangnyu said.
The state recorded 94 recoveries, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 16,205. Out of the 94 recoveries, 20 patients each recovered from Dimapur & Kohima, 12 from Longleng, 10 from Mokokchung, 09 from Mon, 08 from Tuensang, 06 from Kiphire, 05 from Zunheboto and 04 from Wokha, the Health Minister updated.
218 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.
Dimapur-86, Mokokchung-40, Kohima-34, Tuensang-31, Phek-9, Wokha-7, Zunheboto-5, Kiphire-3, Longleng-Mon-Peren- 1 each.

The state also reported 14 deaths related to COVID-19 on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 386. Out of 14 deaths, 04 each are from Dimapur & Kohima, 02 from Zunheboto and 01 each from Kiphire, Phek, Tuensang & Mokokching, the COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by the Health department updated.
