Kohima, November 09 (NEx): Nagaland reported 29 new COVID-19 positive cases today, November 09, taking the total count in the state to 9,503, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 14 cases were detected in Kohima, 13 in Dimapur and 01 each in Peren & Tuensang, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 941.
The state also reported 73 recoveries from COVID-19 today, out of which, 49 patients recovered from Dimapur, 20 from Kohima and 03 from Kiphire and 01 from Tuensang, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8,423.

Also, 73 +ve patients have recovered.
Dimapur- 49, Kohima- 20, Kiphire- 3, Tuensang- 1.

Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,082 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1,676 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,281 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 464 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 887 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 29 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 01 active cases is critical in ICU without oxygen and 04 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty (40) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 but are not related to COVID and three (3) death cases are under investigation while 90 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
