Kohima, May 27 (NEx): Nagaland reported 228 COVID positive cases, 11 deaths due to COVID-19 and 195 recoveries on Thursday, May 27th, 2021, the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom updated.
With 228 new positive cases on Thursday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 21,023 and active cases stands at 4941, the Health Minister updated.
Out of 228 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 98cases were detected in Dimapur, 54 in Kohima, 25 in Mokokchung, 20 in Tuensang, 15 in Phek, 06 in Zunheboto, 04 in Wokha, 02 each in Longleng & Mon and 01 each in Kiphire & Peren, Pangnyu said.
Also, the state recorded 195 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally to 15,124.
Out of the 195 recoveries, 106 patients recovered from Dimapur, 47 from Kohima, 17 from Mokokchung, 09 from Zunheboto, 05 from Tuensang, 03 each from Wokha, Peren & Kiphire-3 and 02 from Longleng, the Health Minister updated.
228 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.

The state also reported 11 deaths due to COVID-19 on Thursday, taking the death toll to 326. Out of 11 deaths, 06 are from Dimapur, 02 from Kohima and 01 each from Mon, Tuensang & Wokha, Health department updated.
