Kohima, May 24 (NEx): Nagaland reported 191 COVID positive cases, 12 deaths due to COVID-19 and 137 recoveries on Monday, May 24th, 2021, State Health department updated.
With 191 new positive cases on Monday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 20,259 and active cases stands at 4714, Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom updated.
Out of 191 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 67 cases were detected in Kohima, 53 in Dimapur, 28 in Tuensang, 25 in Mokokchung, 06 in Wokha, 04 each in Zunheboto & Mon, 02 in Peren and 01 each in Kiphire & Phek, Pangnyu said.
Also, the state recorded 137 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 14,637.
Out of the 137 recoveries, 53 patients recovered from Dimapur, 38 from Kohima, 13 from Tuensang, 10 from Mon, 09 from Kiphire, 08 from Zunheboto, 04 from Mokokchung and 02 from Peren, the Health Minister updated.
191 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.

The state also reported 12 deaths due to COVID-19 on Monday, taking the death toll to 285. Out of 12 deaths today, 06 deaths were from Dimapur, 01 each from Kohima, Longleng, Mokokchung, Mon, Phek and Zunheboto districts, Health department updated.
