Kohima, September 13 (NEx): Nagaland reported 19 new COVID-19 positive cases today, September 13, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 5083, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Active cases stands at 1172.
Taking to Twitter, Pangnyu updated that 19 new COVID-19 positive cases has been confirmed in the State out of 563 sample results received today. Among the new cases detected, 16 cases are in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung & 1 in Kohima, informed Pangnyu.
Health minister also informed of 61 recoveries among the COVID- positive patients, out of which 24 patients recovered from Kohima, 23 in Dimapur, 13 in Tuensang & 1 in Wokha. Total recovery tally stands at 3883.
19 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been detected out of 563 samples received.
16 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung & 1 in Kohima.
Also, State reports 61 recoveries of COVID-19 patients.
24 in Kohima, 23 in Dimapur, 13 in Tuensang & 1 in Wokha.

The COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by H&FW department, Government of Nagaland updates segregated data of 19 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Nagaland on September 13, 2020. Out of the total cases reported, 09 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 05 returnees and 05 traced contacts were tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
With 19 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 5083 today. Out of this, 2386 postive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally. Meanwhile, 317 frontline workers in Nagaland also tested COVID positive while fighting against the pandemic. As per the severity of symptoms, 1163 active cases are asymptomatic, 07 active cases are mild and 02 are moderate.
So far, the State has reported eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19. Two (2) deaths of COVID-19 patient are not due to COVID-19 and five (5) death cases in Dimapur are under investigation, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
