Kohima, May 25 (NEx): Nagaland reported 276 COVID positive cases, 18 deaths due to COVID-19 and 161 recoveries on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021, updated the Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom.
With 276 new positive cases on Tuesday, the total tally of positive cases rose to 20,535 and active cases stands at 4806, the Health Minister updated.
Out of 191 new COVID-19 positive cases reported, 119 cases were detected in Dimapur, 87 in Kohima, 19 in Mokokchung, 17 in Phek, 14 in Kiphire, 09 in Tuensang, 07 in Zunheboto, 02 in Peren and 01 each in Mon & Wokha, Pangnyu said.
Also, the state recorded 161 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, taking the total recovery tally in the state to 14,798.
Out of the 161 recoveries, 116 patients recovered from Dimapur, 02 from Kiphire, 23 from Kohima, 02 from Longleng, 09 from Mokokchung, 02 from Mon, 04 from Phek, 02 from Tuensang and 01 from Zunheboto, the Health Minister updated.

The state also reported 18 deaths due to COVID-19 on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 303. Out of 18 deaths today, 12 deaths were from Dimapur and 03 each from Kohima & Mokokchung.
