Kohima, October 31 (NEx): Nagaland reported 146 recoveries from COVID-19 today, October 31, 2020, out of which, 127 patients recovered from Dimapur, 07 from Kohima, 09 from Mon, and 03 from Kiphire, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 7375.
The state also reported 102 new COVID-19 positive cases today, taking the total count in the state to 9047, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 84 cases were detected in Dimapur, 16 in Kohima and 02 in Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1552.

Out of the new positive cases reported in the State today, 56 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel/security personnel, 03 returnee/traveller, 41 traced contacts and 02 front line workers, updated the daily COVID bulletin.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 3934 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 45% of the total tally, 1656 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3019 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 438 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 1478 active cases are asymptomatic and among the symptomatic, 49 active cases are mild, 06 cases are moderate on oxygen and 09 severe on oxygen, while, 10 patients are in critical condition in ICU, out of which, 07 patients are with oxygen and 03 on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported thirty three (33) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 79 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
