Kohima, September 14 (NEx): Nagaland reported 131 new COVID-19 positive cases today, September 14, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 5214, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Active cases stands at 1289.
Taking to Twitter, Pangnyu updated that 131 new COVID-19 positive cases has been confirmed in the State out of 459 sample results received today. Among the new cases detected, 70 cases are in Kohima, 60 in Dimapur & 1 in Mon, informed Pangnyu.
Health minister also informed of 14 recoveries among the COVID- positive patients, out of which 9 patients recovered from Kiphire, 4 in Dimapur & 1 in Mon. Total recovery tally stands at 3897.

The COVID-19 daily bulletin issued by H&FW department, Government of Nagaland updates segregated data of 19 new COVID-19 positive cases reported in Nagaland on September 14, 2020. Out of the total cases reported, 77 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 07 returnees, 45 traced contacts and 02 front line workers were tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
With 131 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 5214 today. Out of this, 2463 postive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally. Meanwhile, 319 frontline workers in Nagaland also tested COVID positive while fighting against the pandemic. As per the severity of symptoms, 1279 active cases are asymptomatic, 08 active cases are mild and 02 are moderate.
So far, the State has reported eight (8) deaths due to COVID-19. Two (2) deaths of COVID-19 patient are not due to COVID-19 and six (6) death cases in Dimapur are under investigation, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
