Kohima, November 14 (NEx): Nagaland reported 112 new COVID-19 positive cases out of 313 results received today, November 14, taking the total count in the state to 9,750, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today.
Among the new cases detected, 109 cases were detected in Dimapur, 02 in Kohima and 01 in Mon, updated Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 805. The Health Minister also cautioned to follow the 3 W’s: Wear Mask, Wash Hands, Watch Distance.
The state also reported 30 recoveries of COVID-19 patients from Dimapur, today, updated the Health Minister. Total recovery tally stands at 8,794.

Among the new cases detected today, 05 cases are from among the armed forces/ security personnel, 36 returnees/ travellers, 70 are from traced contacts and 01 front line worker.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 4,099 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is 45% of the total tally, 1,730 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 21%, 3,449 are traced contacts which is 29% of total cases and 472 front line workers at 05%.
As per the severity of symptoms, 757 active cases are asymptomatic, and among the symptomatic, 21 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 03 active cases are critical in ICU without oxygen and 02 active cases are on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported forty six (46) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Six (6) deaths of COVID-19 but are not related to COVID and two (2) death cases are under investigation and 97 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
