Kohima, September 28 (NEx): Nagaland reported 11 new COVID-19 positive cases today, September 28, 2020, taking the total count in the state to 5957, updated Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom today. Among the new cases detected, 6 cases were detected in Kohima, 4 in Tuensang & 1 in Dimapur, informed Pangnyu. Active cases stands at 1002.
State reports 11 new +ve cases of COVID-19.

Also 47 COVID-19 patients have been recovered.

Also, the state reported 47 recoveries of COVID-19 patients, out of which, 45 patients recovered from Kohima & 2 from Dimapur, updated Pangnyu. Total recovery tally stands at 4897.
The Principal Secretary, Home, GoN, issued COVID-19 bulletin and updated segregated data of COVID-19 positive cases reported in Nagaland for today. Out of the new postive cases reported in the State, 02 positive cases are among Armed Force personnel, 03 returnees, 03 traced contacts and 03 front line workers were tested positive for COVID-19, it said.
Out of the total positive cases in the state, 2801 positive cases are among the Armed Force personnel, which is around 47% of the total tally, 1482 cases are returnees/travellers accounting to 25%, 1334 are traced contacts which is 22% of total cases and 340 front line workers which sums at 06%. As per the severity of symptoms, 964 active cases are asymptomatic, 30 active cases mild, 07 cases moderate and one (1) patient is on ventilator.
So far, the State has reported twelve (12) deaths of COVID-19 patients. Five (5) deaths of COVID-19 patients are not due to COVID-19 and two (2) death cases are under investigation while 41 cases of COVID-19 are migrated, informed Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Department.
