Nagaland Police appeals to people to maintain a self-record of contact history

Kohima, March 24 (NE): As a precautionary measure to contain and prevent the spread of the coronavirus outbreak, Nagaland Police appeals to everyone to self maintain a record of all the people you come in contact with, said a notification issued on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

The notification reads out – “Nagaland Police appeals to everyone to maintain a record of all the people you come in contact with. This will help to quickly monitor and isolate those people, should the most unfortunate happen” – unquote.

The notification attached with a sample self maintaining records of the contact history on a daily basis. Separate columns to add the name and the phone number of the persons on date base. Duplicate the sheets for family members as necessary, it added.

Earlier, a picture shared by Nagaland Police with a message ‘We stay at work for you, please stay at home for us’ won the hearts of people. Within a short time, people shared the image in various social media platforms, and many expressed their gratitude for their service while advising them to use proper safety gears.
