Nagaland Governor to take charge of Meghalaya: Oath to be held tomorrow

(Nagaland Governor Shri R.N Ravi)

Our Bureau/with inputs from DIPR:

Dimapur, December 16 (NE): Nagaland Governor, Shri R N Ravi has been given an additional charge as Governor of Meghalaya.

According to an information recieved from Shillong here today, December Sixteen, it said that Shri Ravi would be taking oath of allegiance, tomorrow, December Seventeen at Meghalaya.

The President of India has appointed Governor of Nagaland, Shri R.N. Ravi, to discharge the functions as the Governor of Meghalaya, in addition to his own duties, during the leave absence of Shri Tathagata Roy, Governor of Meghalaya.

But according to speculation coming in, the good office of PMO, Government of India might have transferred as the then Governor of Meghalaya gave a hate speech recently pertaining to ensuing CA Act currently in India as a whole.

This was not taken in a good light by public of Meghalaya including the netizens – asking to sack or atleast transfer him, so as to create a conducive atmosphere as a peace loving state like Meghalaya in Northeast India.

The Government of India, if is true has acted in best interest in global perspective mainly because of CA Act been under observations by International communities, among many others.

It is pertinent to note that PMO has also sacked various Governors, in different times whenever such inhuman speeches are meted out especially by leaders like the Governors, who actually should be representing the concern people of the state, they represent as apex & authority personal of the said state in India.
