Kohima, July 30 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 positive tally reached 1561, with 48 new cases today, July 30, 2020, updated by Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 01:49 pm.
Taking to twitter, Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 516 samples tested, 48 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed.
Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 32 cases are in Dimapur and 16 in Kohima district. Contact tracing are fully activated for the safety of all – updates the Health Minister, today.

With 48 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1561 today. Among the confirmed cases, 595 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 961. The state has reported the death of 4 COVID patients.
Among the 961 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 436 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 316 at Kohima, 138 at Mon, 30 at Peren, 4 at Tuensang, 13 at Phek and 8 at Mokokchung, 1 at Longleng, 8 at Zunheboto and 7 at Wokha district.
Kiphire district in Nagaland is the only COVID-19 free district with zero case till today.
