Kohima, July 28 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 positive tally nears 1500-mark, with 75 new cases today, July 28, 2020, taking the tally to 1460, as per an update by Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom at 12:41 pm.
Taking to twitter, Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 450 samples tested, 75 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed.
Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 51 cases are in Kohima, 10 in Phek, 7 in Wokha, 3 each in Mon & Dimapur and 1 in Tuensang district – updates the Health Minister, today.

With 75 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1460 today. Among the confirmed cases, 569 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 886. The state has reported the death of 5 COVID patients.
Among the 811 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 375 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 285 at Kohima, 135 at Mon, 45 at Peren, 8 at Tuensang, 14 at Phek and 8 at Mokokchung, 1 at Longleng, 8 at Zunheboto and 7 at Wokha district.
Kiphire district in Nagaland is the only COVID-19 free district with zero case till today.
