Kohima, July 20 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 positive tally surpassed 1000-mark with 33 new cases today, July 20, 2020, taking the total confirmed cases in the State to 1021 informed Nagaland Health Minister, S Pangnyu Phom.
Taking to twitter Pangnyu Phom updated that, out of 454 samples tested, 33 new COVID-19 positive cases have been confirmed.
Among the new COVID-19 confirmed positive cases, 16 cases are from Dimapur, 12 from Mon and 5 from Kohima – updates the Health Minister.

With 33 new cases, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland rises to 1021 today. Among the confirmed cases, 445 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state now stands at 576. The state has not reported any fatalities due to COVID-19.
Among the 576 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 240 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 109 at Kohima, 87 at Mon, 107 at Peren, 10 at Tuensang, 8 at Phek and 7 at Mokokchung, 3 at Longleng, 2 at Zunheboto and 1 at Wokha district.
