Kohima, July 05 (NEx): Nagaland COVID-19 tally nears 600, as fifteen (15) new COVID-19 positive cases detected today, July 05, 2020, taking the total number in the state to 578.
Taking to twitter, Nagaland Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom said, out of 154 samples tested for COVID-19, 15 new positive cases were confirmed.
Out of the 15 positive cases for COVID-19, 12 cases are from Dimapur and 1 each from Kohima, Zunheboto and Mokokchung respectively – tweeted Pangnyu at 09:20 am today.
With 15 new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of confirmed cases rises to 578 today. Among the confirmed cases, 228 patients have recovered from COVID-19 and the active cases in the state stands at 350, updated Health Minister.
Out of 154 samples tested, 15 fresh positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed.
12 in Dimapur, 1 each in Zunheboto, Mokokchung & Kohima respectively.

Among the 350 active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland, 41 patients are undergoing treatment at Dimapur, 76 at Kohima, 42 at Mon, 157 at Peren, 20 at Tuensang, 4 at Zunheboto, 8 at Phek and 2 at Mokokchung district.
